Instructions – In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy. – Add the flour, salt, and oil. Mix until a dough forms. – Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. – Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
– Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. – Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel.
4. **Add Toppings:** – Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. – Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. – Add your favorite toppings.
