No-Bake Homemade Crunch Bars



Ingredients:

2 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Directions:
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix the crispy rice cereal with a pinch of salt.
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and honey/maple syrup. Use a microwave (stirring every 30 secs) or a double boiler.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Pour over cereal, mix gently, then press into the pan.
Chill for 1 hour or until set, then cut into squares.
