Pan-Fried Chicken with Cream Gravy



Ingredients:

4 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 ½ cups milk
½ cup chicken broth

Instructions:

In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
To the same skillet, whisk in 2 tbsp of the remaining seasoned flour.
Slowly pour in the milk and chicken broth, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
Simmer the gravy for 3-5 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the chicken topped with the cream gravy.

Notes:

Perfect when paired with mashed potatoes or biscuits.
